Tips and Tweaks to Fix iPhone Won’t Sync to iTunes on Mac (EI Capitan Included)

“I can’t sync my iPhone 6 64GB (iOS 9) to iTunes on Mac (Yosemite). Every time I connect my device through USB cable my iTunes stops working and I have to force close the application. I have reset my iPhone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and reinstalled Yosemite on my Mac.”

Other Fixes about iPhone Won’t Sync to iTunes on Mac

Before trying anything else, be sure you have the latest version of iTunes on the computer. Sometimes just updating the iTunes is enough to solve the syncing problem.

1.You can simply close iTunes and try syncing your device and Mac manually. Relaunch the app and hit sync. If you’re lucky, this might just work out.

2.Reauthorize iTunes and the computer. If sync fails, the sync button is greyed out and not available at all, you may simply need to authorize the computer with iTunes.

3.Reboot your iPhone. Hold down the power button and forcibly turn it off. Then turn it on again in the conventional manner. You can also hold down the power button and home button simultaneously, this will get your device to restart.

4.Restart the Mac. Sometimes a daemon might malfunction and create problems. In such situations, restarting your computer might help.

5.Try the opposite syncing methods: WiFi or USB.
